Our app is consistently updating to provide the latest and greatest tech features to our mobile users. With the release of 10.0.0, we are requiring an app update to keep the app features operating properly.
Note: All users on versions released before 10.0.0 will experience major hiccups while attempting to use many features across the app.
Checking Your Current App Version
Checking your current app version is easy in both our iOS and android apps. Both apps also follow the same steps.
To check your current app version, simply tap the hamburger bar at the top right of the home screen of the app (3 horizontal lines), and tap on "Settings". The top text on that screen will say "Version X.X.X". For example, if your app version was 10.0.0, the text would read "Version 10.0.0". A screenshot displaying this is below.
Updating to the Newest App Version
Updating to the newest app version is similar in the both the iOS and android apps. This update is done using the "Play Store" app in android and the "App Store" app in iOS.
Android
Open the "Play Store" app on the device, and type "doForms" into the top search bar. Only one app with the name "doForms Mobile Data Platform" will appear. Simply tap "Update" on the blue button to the right of the app name, and let the update be automatically performed by the android play store. A screenshot displaying the update button is below. If you do not see the update button, it is likely due to the current app version already being possessed.
Note: If you experience any issues performing the updating steps, please contact your internal IT team. It is possible that they have advanced security on your device and doForms support is unable to help with any play store issues.
iOS
Open the "App Store" app on the device, and type "doForms" into the top search bar. There are two doForms app on iOS. One is for iPhones and one is for iPads. The iPhone version is titled "doForms Mobile Data" and the iPad version is titled "doForms Mobile Data Platform". Only one of these apps needs to be installed. Simply tap "Update" on the blue button to the right of the preferred app's name, and let the update be automatically performed by the iOS app store. The update button will look almost exactly as it does in the above android screenshot. If you do not see the update button, it is likely due to the current app version already being possessed.
