Manage > General > Advanced security allows admin users to configure advanced security options, for better securing of data. Requires Advanced or Premium plan.
Note: The Manage tab is available to users with System Manager or Admin privileges only.
- Require multi-factor authentication for web login: When a web user logs in, a security code that can be used to complete the login is sent to their email address.
- Require multi-factor authentication for report writer: When a report is emailed, the email contains a link to the doForms secure document retrieval page. A security code that can be used to complete the login is sent to the email address.
- Require multi-factor authentication for web client: When a mobile user logs in to the web client, a security code that can be used to complete the login is sent to their email address.
- Require multi-factor authentication for mobile devices: Only the device with a specific device identifier can connect to the mobile user license. Manage the allowed identifier at Manage > Mobile app > Users > Edit > MFA device ID. If the MFA device ID is blank, the first device to connect to the license updates the MFA device ID with its own device identifier.
- Allow text and numeric fields to be encrypted: Add an Encrypt field option to Text, Numeric and Calculation questions.
- Set admin user privilege to view encrypted data: Allow the admin user to view encrypted fields. Uncheck if the admin user maintains account settings but should not access encrypted fields.
- Set admin user privilege to read-only: Don't allow the admin user to add or update data.
