Create custom geofences with specific coordinates to accurately track your workforce.
Note: geofences at the most basic are zones that use latitude and longitude to trigger GPS events. Generally, a geofence is created if an administrator/manager wants a stamp each time one of their users enters or leaves a static zone.
Refresh the list of geofences.
Add a new geofence.

Hover over a view name and select an action:
Click to view a geofence.
Delete a geofence.
Creating a Geofence
To start creating a new geofence, click on the button at the top of the tab.
When creating a new geofence there are five required fields.
- Type: Chooses a shared or mobile unit specific geofence.
- Shared: A geofence that will stamp each time any doForms user enters or leaves the zone.
- Mobile Unit: A geofence that will stamp only when a specific user enters or leaves the zone.
- Name: Selects a name for this geofence.
- Address: Populates the latitude and longitude of the street address that a geofence is desired. (not required)
- Latitude: Specific coordinates delineating the center of your geofence. (can be filled automatically by selecting an address)
- Longitude: Specific coordinates delineating the center of your geofence. (can be filled automatically by selecting an address)
- Shape: Choose if you would like your geofence to be in the shape of a circle or a polygon.
Note: To properly use a polygon geofence, enter the address where the geofence is desired and then click points on the map that illustrate any polygon.
- Radius (m): Choose the radius/size of your circle geofence.
Note: Radius is only available for circle geofences.
Once the five required fields are populated and you have the desired size/shape of your geofence, you can save the new geofence by clicking the button at the top.
