Having the ability to download critical data to your mobile device for use in your form is extremely powerful and for data sources that stay relatively the same size this works great. But what if you have a data source that is tied to a form and the data source is growing by leaps and bounds. Over time, that data source may no longer make sense to distribute remotely.

doForms has solved this problem by giving you the ability to filter a data source using fields in your data.

As an example, you can now filter out data that has been marked as paid. This will give you a data source of only those records where the pay status field is not set to paid:

Give this data source a name like Unpaid Invoices and you are all set:

You can now point to this data set in your form and doForms will automatically distribute the pre-filtered dataset to your devices.
