In order to send email notifications through gmail, please use the following settings:

1. Configure Gmail to use two step authentication.
2. Configure a Gmail app password that is specific to Sync & Save.
3. In the email notification dialog:
4. Set the SMTP Server to smtp.gmail.com
5. Set the Port to 587.
6. Set the User Name to your gmail address.
7. Set the Password to the app password generated in step 2.
8. Select Use SSL.

Email notifications using Gmail are available beginning with version 1.12.2.
